The Project

Ronnisch Construction Group was selected as the Construction Manager for this multi-family and retail development in White Lake Township. Overlooking Cooley Lake in beautiful Oakland County, this 81-unit complex offers the most modern and up-to-date amenities for its tenants. A dual project—entailing site development activities for the retail component—as well as the apartment construction, this project was ready for occupancy in the Fall of 2021. The project consisted of the coordination of various trades, subcontractors, and materials, provided by both the owner and Ronnisch subcontracts. The project also included an underground, heated, parking garage, and amenities such as an exercise room, pool table area, outdoor barbecue and fire pit area, sun deck, and a yoga studio.

The Project

In downtown Detroit, with the continued growth and development in and around the Fox Theatre, Comerica Park, and the construction of Little Caesars Arena, St. John’s Episcopal Church – Detroit felt it appropriate to expand their facility and bring new life to the historic church. With design by Hobbs + Black, St. John’s called on Ronnisch Construction Group to add 13,000 sf of building, make numerous improvements to the existing facilities, and create a new pathway and drive area adjacent to improvements in the area. Originally built in the late 1850s, St. John’s is on both the National Register of Historic Places and designated as a Michigan State Historic Site. Ronnisch Construction Group’s work was in keeping with the original construction designed in the great and classic – Victorian Gothic Revival Architectural style.

The Project

Blossom Children Center, located in Brighton, Michigan, occupies a sprawling 33,000 square foot space dedicated to early intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder and special needs. By renovating existing space in 2021, the facility was designed to cater specifically to the unique requirements of the Blossom Brighton. One of its standout features is the innovative Pretend Play Neighborhood, meticulously crafted to mimic real-world scenarios with restaurants, dental offices, and doctor’s offices. There are also rooms specifically dedicated to educational therapy and learning. This immersive environment is thoughtfully designed to sensitively expose children to everyday situations in a controlled and non-threatening setting, facilitating their development and integration into society.

The Project

Ronnisch Construction Group was selected as the Construction Manager for Vibe Credit Union’s branch retrofit in Berkley, Michigan.

The project consisted of site work, exterior building modifications, and an entire interior re-work to bring the branch up to current corporate standards. This project features a modern design throughout, including upgraded lighting, design walls, open sitting areas, a new drive through, and upgraded branch operation capabilities.

The entire project was completed around ongoing operations, as Vibe Berkley did not shut down during construction. Vibe Credit Union is a long-time, valued customer of Ronnisch.

Barton Hills Country Club

The Project

Barton Hills Country Club selected Ronnisch Construction Group to conduct major improvements to their club. In a phased project sequencing, Ronnisch Construction Group coordinated with club operations and the subcontractors to minimize club disruption. The work involved a unique heavy-timber-structure for the pool pavilion. This structure was ‘craned in’ over an existing building due to site constraints. Other work included an outdoor bar, dining area, and kitchen. Interior Club improvements involved a complete re-work of the main dining area and indoor bar. Also included as part of the pool area upgrade was a new locker room facility.

Ronnisch Construction Group was selected as the Construction Manager to add an addition to the Armenian Community enter. The 16,000 square foot space is now a sports and educational wing. The renovated space now provides additional classrooms for students as well as a new gym for recreational use. Ronnisch Construction Group worked closely with the architect and Raffi Ourlian, to build and deliver this space to meet the needs of their students and staff.
