Shuert Technologies – Multiple Projects

Since 1998, Ronnisch Construction Group has partnered with Shuert Technologies, a leader in plastic manufacturing, to support decades of growth and reinvestment across its Sterling Heights campus. This long-standing relationship spans more than 30 years of construction activity and reflects a shared commitment to operational excellence, adaptability, and workforce-focused improvements.

Shuert’s primary manufacturing campus includes approximately 350,000 square feet of facilities situated on a 50-acre site. Our work has supported both large-scale planning initiatives and highly targeted renovations, all performed within active, fully operational manufacturing environments.

Key Projects and Contributions

• One of the most significant efforts includes a comprehensive campus master plan, guiding phased improvements across more than 87,000 square feet. This long-term approach allowed Shuert to strategically plan facility upgrades while maintaining uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Major construction work includes the addition of a 10,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building to support a plastic recycling center, expanding Shuert’s operational capabilities and reinforcing its commitment to sustainability.
• Interior renovations and buildouts have been a consistent focus of the partnership. These projects include office buildouts on existing mezzanines, complete with kitchens and restrooms, renovations to cafés and breakrooms, locker rooms, and restroom facilities, and expansions designed to improve employee comfort and collaboration.
• Exterior and site improvements have ranged from façade repairs and roof repairs to parking lot work, drainage upgrades, landscaping, and courtyard enhancements. These projects support both the performance and longevity of the facilities while improving the overall campus environment.
• In addition to large-scale renovations, we have completed numerous smaller improvements including door replacements, ceiling modifications, maintenance upgrades, and office renovations. Together, these projects demonstrate our role as a trusted construction partner capable of supporting both daily operational needs and long-term facility evolution.
