Adient – Multiple Projects

Since 2016, we have partnered with Adient, a global leader in automotive seating and interior solutions, to support a wide range of construction projects at its Plymouth campus. This long-standing relationship reflects Adient’s continued investment in research, innovation, and facility performance, as well as our ability to deliver complex work within an active, mission-critical environment.

Adient’s Plymouth operations serve as a major hub for engineering, testing, and workplace collaboration. Our work spans multiple phases and building areas, supporting office, lab, manufacturing, and parking infrastructure while maintaining continuity of daily operations.

Key Projects and Contributions

• One of the largest efforts within the partnership includes construction management services for the Adient CTU Building, a 450,000 square foot facility that supports automotive research and development. This project, along with subsequent phased work, required careful coordination across disciplines, trades, and stakeholders.
• We have managed multiple large-scale interior and MEP phases, including Phase 1B MEP improvements and Phase 1C interior buildouts, delivering upgraded systems, modernized workspaces, and enhanced functionality across hundreds of thousands of square feet.
• Site and infrastructure work has included a major site package, parking structure improvements, façade repairs, and front entry additions and repairs. These projects improve both campus circulation and the overall appearance of the facility.
• Interior renovation projects have ranged from large office renovations and lab consolidations to highly specialized spaces such as a 3D printing room, comfort lab, sled lab repairs, highbay areas, and test environments. Supporting spaces including restrooms, cafés, kitchens, and HR and collaboration areas have also been upgraded to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
• In addition to major capital projects, we have completed numerous smaller but critical improvements, including piping replacements, flooring systems, concrete and sewer repairs, door replacements, and ongoing construction management staffing services billed through CBRE. These projects reflect our role as a trusted partner for both long-term planning and responsive facility needs.
