Some projects stand out for their size. Others for their complexity. The Powerhouse Gym at Partridge Creek delivered both—and more.
Jarbou Ronnisch Construction is proud to announce the completion of the largest Powerhouse Gym in the world, a 120,000-square-foot transformation of a former retail anchor space into a high-performance fitness destination.
Reimagining an Existing Structure
Located within The Mall at Partridge Creek, this project is a powerful example of adaptive reuse done right. What was once a vacant Carson’s department store has been completely reimagined into a dynamic, multi-level facility designed to serve a new generation of users.
Rather than starting from the ground up, the project required a full-scale redevelopment of the existing structure—bringing new life, energy, and purpose to a space that had sat dormant.
Built for Performance
This wasn’t a typical interior build-out. The scale and scope of the project demanded detailed coordination, strategic planning, and disciplined execution across every phase of construction.
The completed facility features a wide range of amenities designed to create a comprehensive fitness experience, including:
- Indoor pool and recovery areas
- Basketball courts and turf training zones
- Elevated running track
- Strength and conditioning spaces
- Locker rooms and spa-like amenities
Every element of the build was carefully integrated to support both performance and user experience, resulting in a space that feels as impressive as it functions.
Delivering at Scale
Projects of this magnitude require more than technical expertise—they require alignment, communication, and a team that knows how to execute.
From early planning through final completion, JRC worked closely with ownership, design partners, and trade contractors to maintain momentum, manage complexity, and deliver a high-quality result.
A Project We’re Proud Of
The completion of Powerhouse Gym at Partridge Creek represents more than the delivery of a large-scale project. It reflects what’s possible when vision, collaboration, and execution come together.
We’re proud of the role our team played in bringing this space to life—and in helping transform an existing structure into something entirely new.
