Bernie was a visionary leader, a generous mentor, and a lifelong friend to many. He inspired those around him with his integrity, his wisdom, and his genuine belief in the potential of others. Under his guidance, generations of construction professionals found their footing, advanced their careers, and discovered what it meant to lead with both excellence and heart. His influence extended well beyond the company. Bernie dedicated himself to service, giving his time and energy to organizations such as the Metro Detroit Youth Club, The Judson Center, and the Robert A. Schuele Scholarship. Through his commitment to volunteering, he left an indelible mark on countless lives across Metro Detroit. Bernie’s legacy continues to shape who we are today.
