Summary

Leads, plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designed projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Education and / or Experience

Four-year college degree in construction related field or a minimum of two years of construction experience. Field experience preferred by not required.

III. Basic Values Required

  • Computer Skills: Must have above average skills and be proficient at Microsoft Office Software including Word, Excel, Project, etc. Experience with PROCORE strongly preferred.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, share correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one – on – one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to analyze job information, formulate conclusions and make recommendations when appropriate. Extremely organized and able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as retentions, interest, commissions, and percentages.

IV. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (% of Time)

1. Document Management (40%)

  • Sets up and maintains current set of project drawings/specifications, updates drawing log & distributes to team
  • Completes material status report at start of project and provides to project team
  • Tracks and manages submittal process
  • Issues submittals to project team in a timely manner
  • Manages the RFI process & RFI log
  • Assists with verification of current drawing log exhibits for subcontracts

2. Project Engineering & Field Support (45%)

  • Accurate input of the GMP/Budget into project management software
  • Accurate input of project directory
  • Reviews Owner contract terms and conditions
  • Understands and manages NOC / NOT process in a timely manner
  • Manages permit procurement process
  • Works with project team to establish material ROJ dates
  • Distributes revision/bulletin documents and procures change order pricing
  • Distributes subcontract revisions after Owner/Project Manager approval
  • Assists Project Manager and Superintendent with administrative tasks
  • Is prepared for & participates in project meetings
  • Maintains & distributes agendas & meeting minutes in a timely manner.
  • Maintains project files in an organized manner
  • Works well with other members of the project team
  • Possesses proper time management skills
  • Sets priorities and manages multiple tasks
  • Establishes working relationships with subcontractors
  • Communicates with & responds to Superintendent on field related issues
  • Fills in on site as required

3. Customer Service (5%)

  • Project positive image of oneself and Ronnisch Construction Group
  • Establishes personal relationship with customers
  • Understands client expectations and works to meet those expectations

4. Closeout/Archiving (10%)

  • Assists with punchlist creation and distribution
  • Understands closeout process
  • Issues and collects closeout letters in a timely manner
  • Reviews closeout book requirements and assembles book in a timely manner
  • Distributes closeout package to Owner team
  • Procurement of final contract guarantees
  • Assist PM with reconciliation of final contract guarantees to RCG IOR
  • Understands and manages NOT process in a timely manner
  • Archives project documents in the correct manner
