Summary
Leads, plans, directs, and coordinates activites of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
Four-year college degree in construction related field and/or a minimum of two to five years of construction experience. Field experience preferred but not required.

III. Basic VALUES Required
- Computer Skills: Must have above average skills and be proficient at Microsoft Office Software including Word, Excel, Project, etc. Experience with PROCORE strongly preferred.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, share correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one – on – one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to analyze job information, formulate conclusions and make recommendations when appropriate. Extremely organized and able to handle multiple tasks.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as retentions, interest, commissions, and percentages.
IV. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (% of Time)
1. Drawing & Documentation Review (35%)
- Actively participates in GO/No Go & Bid Strategy meetings
- Review documents to identify all required trades for proper bid coverage
- Communicates with Owner/Architect to track & distribute preconstruction RFI’s in a timely manner
- Reviews documents to identify all special project requirements: labor, bonds, permits, LD’s, etc.
- Works with staff to ensure all bid requirements are met: schedule, logistics, resumes, etc.
2. Scheduling/Coordination (40%)
- Provide estimates on schedule
- Plans and coordinates subcontractor walk-throughs/participation
- Plans workload with other team members
- Able to manage multiple opportunities
- Schedule reviews with VP of Estimating/Operations for all budgets/bids and is properly prepared
- Leads detailed estimating / operations kick-off meetings to properly communicate project requirements
3. Quality Control (10%)
- Manage and distribute all pertinent bid documents
- Manages complete bid process including invitation to bid &verification of subcontractor participation
- Review estimate to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Develops detailed budgets (with subcontract input when applicable), including GC studies, utilizing RCG budget template
- Develops detailed active estimates: scope comparisons, GC studies, utilizing RCG bid form template
- Prepare and/or review Owner contract to ensure all contract terms, conditions and exhibits are accurate
- Verifies operations budget input into project management software is correct
- Coordinates with Project Manager for scope of work development & subcontractor buyout
4. Administration (5%)
- Prequalifies new subcontractors as needed
- Keeps accurate files regarding all bid opportunities (hard copies, email & shared drive)
5. Customer Relations (10%)
- Works with Sales Team to assure Owner needs are being met
- Timely responses are mandatory during the bid process
- Works with RCG Team to assure RCG is looked at positively and has the capabilities to perform the project.
